Generate an API token

In Spark Web Settings, generate an Admin token for company-wide access or issue Manager Agent Access for one Restaurant or Store Manager.

Add the hosted connector

Use the hosted MCP endpoint in Muse or another Streamable HTTP MCP client and choose Bearer/API-key authentication.

Ask about your operation

The connector discovers your company type, role, and enabled modules, then presents the tools relevant to that workspace.

One endpoint. Your company token.

Configure the endpoint as a hosted Streamable HTTP MCP server. Send the API token exactly as a Bearer token. Do not send a company or store ID; Spark resolves company, role, and manager assignments from the token.

Treat the API token like a password. Do not place it in source control, screenshots, support messages, or client-side code. Spark shows the plaintext token only once.

Security model

The token decides what the connector can see

Identity scoped

Every token resolves its company, role, and—when issued for a manager—the manager’s current assigned restaurants or stores.

No company override

External agents cannot send a company ID or switch the token into another workspace.

Role-aware tools

Available tools follow the token's company, role, enabled modules, and current manager assignments.

Revocable

Rotate or revoke the token from Spark Settings. Revoked tokens are rejected at the connector boundary.

Live answers from enabled Spark modules

The connector includes tools for dashboards, sales, LPG orders, payments, customers, stock, trips, vehicles, attendance, check-ins, payroll, expenses, alerts, and other enabled modules.

Requirements and limits

What to know before connecting

An active Spark company account and web administrator login are required.
Generate your own Admin token or issue manager-bound tokens from Spark Web → Settings.
Admin tokens use company-wide tools. Manager tokens receive tools for their currently assigned restaurants or stores.
Store assignment, employment, role, expiry, and revocation changes take effect on the next agent request.
Each company token is limited to 120 MCP requests per rolling minute; clients should narrow repeated or broad queries.
List tools may return a bounded result with a truncation indicator; narrow broad questions by date, store, status, or staff member.
Business dates use the company timezone configured in Spark.

Rotate or revoke access

In Settings → API Token, choose Rotate Token to replace the secret or Revoke Token to disconnect agents. Update the agent configuration after rotation.
